St.George's Day Parade 2013

All Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Leaders are expected to attend this event.

When? Sunday 21st April, arrive @ 14:00 for a prompt 14:15 start.

Where? Meet on the playing field of Christ’s School, Richmond (TW10 6HW). There is no vehicular access allowed to the field and parking on Queens Road is extremely limited, please use public transport if possible (Rail: North Sheen, Bus: 33,337,493,371,419)

Parents may follow the parade through Richmond but will not be able to attend the service due to limited space at the school.

Finish? Approx. 16:00 on Christ’s School Playing field. After the parade we will be carrying out the Beaver “Swimming up” ceremony to Cubs and also celebrating Cubs becoming Scouts so please come to see our Members moving on to the next Section.

Parents, please ensure that smart FULL and correct uniform is worn (No trainers please.) Note: The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee badge should no longer be on the uniform.

PS.  "The Royal Watermen's Tudor Pull 2013" comprising the Royal Barge "Gloriana" accompanied by flotilla of cutters and other vessels will be rowing from Hampton Court Palace to Tower Bridge that day.  They are scheduled to stop off at Richmond between 12:45 - 13:30 so you may find you can fit in a visit Richmond riverside en-route to the parade and see them.  More information here.
